My Latest Ultrasound.... I just had an ultrasound on Tuesday, July 11th. I was so excited that all ate that morning was a Chewy Granola Bar. The ultrasound was at 1:00 p.m., so during the ultrasound, I almost fainted. The room started to go black. My body temperature felt like it was dropping, BUT I broke out in a sweat, and the sound drained from the room. All I could do was grab Duane's hand, as if holding on for my dear life. Go figure. Can anybody say "low blood sugar." Oh well. My husband gave me the whole lecture on how breakfast is the most important meal of the day, etc.... So you can all save your preaching for another day, thank you very much. Other than that, the whole day was so exciting! WE'RE HAVING A BOY! Here are some ultrasound pictures for you. Sorry they're not that clear but it's better than nothing, right? Enjoy...

My Latest OB Appointment....
I had an OB appointment on May 31, 2002. It was a regular appointment. My vitals were all good, although my blood pressure was a little low. I think it was 120 over 55. They said it was okay, though. It's when it drops down to 50 or 40 that they start worrying. I had thought that after a 4-day weekend in Paris, my weight would've shot through the roof, but it didn't. Thank God. I also got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Every single time we try to hear the baby's heartbeat, he/she gives the doctors a hard time, squiggling and squirming all about. But I'm glad that my little kiddo is getting lots of exercise in there. At least one of us is....
Here are some Ultrasound Pictures we took when the baby was only 8 weeks old...

And when you're having children of your own, you can't help but feel grateful to the people who raised you, cared for you, clothed you and put a roof over your head. So I'd like to take this moment to thank and honor my mom and dad. They're such wonderful people. And while most people with similar salaries hop on jets to Paris or tour the world, my parents were selfless enough to blow all their cash on us brats. And they didn't stop there! They're such important people in Kirin's life. She's actually going through withdrawal just being away from them. I really do feel I have the bestest parents in the whole wide world! I love you, Mom and Dad!
